Approved Dosimetry Service
To enable clients to accurately monitor whole body and skin beta and gamma radiation doses, NIRAS provides reusable thermoluminescent dosemeters (TLDs) as part of our routine personal dosimetry and record keeping service. Special issue dosimeters (body or extremity TLDs or other specialist dosemeters) can be provided for environmental monitoring or job specific dose assessments. Radiation pass books are issued to all relevant clients on request, as required by the ionising Radiations Regulations 1999.
